A first-time Iranian built simulator for acid injection in fracturing processes was built with the cooperation of Pasargad Exploration, Development and Production Company and Amir Kabir University,
The simulator for acid injection in fracturing processes was built for the first time in the country with the support of Pasargad Energy Group, Pasargad E&P and by Amir Kabir University of Technology and was unveiled in the presence of the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company and a number of members of the Iranian parliament.
The device, which was unveiled on the sidelines of the 28th Tehran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition and was displayed to the public, has various capabilities such as simulating the injection of acid into the crack at different angles of the crack, measuring the conductivity of the crack in the fracturing process with acid and measure the leakage rate and fluid permeability of the gap walls.
The memorandum of understanding for the construction of this equipment was signed last year at the same time in Tehran International Oil Exhibition, and soon was converted into a contract, so that Iran can also benefit from the technology of this equipment and its operation.
